Stony Glen Camp Mission Statement

Stony Glen Camp exists to support local ministries in fulfilling the Great Commission by providing a God-glorifying camp setting for bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and making disciples of men, women and children.

The purpose of Stony Glen camp is to provide a place set apart…

• Where God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — can be clearly understood from what has been made so that men are without excuse and glorify Him. (Romans 1:20-21)

• Where creation itself would teach that God is Creator and holds the life and breath of every creature and all mankind, that the Lord Himself would be sought after for wisdom, power, counsel and understanding. (Job 12:7-13)

• Where the name of Jesus can be preached freely and salvation can be found in Him. (Acts 4:12; John 14:6; John 3:16)

• Where people can rest and pray, following Jesus’ example. (Mark 6:31,46 Matthew 11:28-30;14:23)

• Where discipleship can occur, teaching the Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit that all will go forth as witnesses, multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
